HELIOS DESIGNER HARDWARE, INC. reserves the right to remove items from production.

 

TERMS

 

All first time orders are C.O.D. If credit is desired, a HELIOS credit application must be completed and returned. With approved credit, terms are net 30 days. For any custom work that involves nonstandard designs, a 50% deposit is required initially. Deposits will not be refunded if order is canceled after manufacturing has begun. All phone orders must be followed by a confirming purchase order. A 20% restocking fee will be charged for return of canceled orders on standard items. A service charge of 1 ½% per month, 18% annually will be added to all past due invoices. Buyer agrees to pay all costs of collecting including reasonable attorney’s fees.

 

SHIPPING

 

All products are shipped F. O. B. our factory. Shipping charges will be included on the invoice.

 

CLAIMS

 

At HELIOS, each piece is meticulously inspected and is in its finest possible condition when it leaves our facilities. Claims for damage or loss must be  filed with the carrier when the goods are received. It is the customer’s responsibility to examine the merchandise at delivery for any damage not noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt.

 

RETURNS

 

HELIOS will not accept goods returned without prior permission. A Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA#) must be obtained from our sales/service department. This number must appear on all returned packages.

 

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

 

HELIOS door and cabinet pulls are individually sand cast and finished by hand. Slight variations in the shape and finish do occur from casting and are considered part of our custom hardware’s individuality, adding character to each piece.

 

Cast brass and bronze have inherent characteristics which are susceptible to tarnish and discoloration. A protective clear coating is applied to each piece, but depending on the frequency of use and climatic conditions, will wear off and show tarnish after a period of time. This natural oxidation is not considered a defect but rather a normal and attractive process of aging.

Tip: Routinely apply a high grade auto wax polish to help protect the finish.

 

LIABILITY

 

HELIOS is not responsible for injury or accidents incurred through faulty or incorrect installations. Its is the buyer’s responsibility to maintain the mounting system and ensure that hardware is installed in a workmanlike manner.
